How to Enter a 3D Request

Step 1: 2D Proposal

To search for a proposal number in any field in the Play Portal, enter the middle (unique) 6-digit proposal number.  This should not include the rep number or revision number.  Example:  If the proposal number is 999-171239-2, type ONLY "171239" in the field to search for the proposal number.

1. Select design proposal number for 3D Render Request 

• Use the drop down to select an available 2D request

2. Add Additional Proposal Number (Optional)

• Click “Add additional proposal number” to add more requests
• Use this if you need to include multiple proposals into one overall render.  Proposal numbers must be in the same project.

Step 2: Requirements

1. Delivery Preference - Use the drop down to select your delivery preference
   • Digital Delivery
   • Print and Digital Delivery
   • Print Delivery-Expedited Shipping (additional costs apply)
2. Paper Size - Use the drop down to select the paper size
   • 11" x 17" (ledger)
   • 20" x 30"
   • 24" x 36"
   • 30" x 40"
3. Layout (in order of shorter to longer) - Select the layout type you would like used
   • If only one type is selected, we assume you want front and reverse view in the same layout.
   • Add additional views if necessary using the link under the icons-"+Add Additional Views" 
4. +Add Additional Views - Enter any applicable layouts, views or notes in the fields to indicate the types of angles you would like shown on the additional pages
   • 
5. Colors - Use the drop down to select the colors used in the render
   • See additional color selection information in “Entering a 2D Request – Step 4: Structure”
   • Enter a custom theme, if applicable, and add notes related to the custom theme

Step 3: Design

1. Background - Select Background
   • From Image selection or drop down list
2. Resilient - Select Resilient/Flooring
   • Select from Image selection or drop down list
   • This is a multi-select field
   • Add additional notes relevant to the surfacing/resilient
3. View options
   
   • click to view icons for the surfacing/resilient
4. Show Children on Render
   • Use the drop down to indicate whether you’d like children included in your render or not
5. Sitework Needed - Use the drop down to indicate what type of sitework is needed
   • Add additional notes if necessary
6. Upload 3D Request Relevant Documents
   • Upload any additional supporting files relevant to the 3D request.

Final Notes and Review

1. Add any additional notes for your request.
2. Review your entries and edit them if necessary
