How to Enter a Truckload Request

This article will take you through the steps to enter a Truckload request.

Things to keep in mind: A project must be created before you can enter truckload requests.
You can add as many proposals or other items as you need to on each truckload request.


Step 1: Project

If you are entering the request from the project page, the project will autofill.  If you are entering the Truckload Request from the requests page, you will have to select the project or create one. Select the project using the dropdown arrow or click "Create Project" to create a new one.


Step 2: What Needs Quoting?

Decide if you need a proposal number or other item quoted or both

  • Other items could include the following
    • Catalog Structures
    • Free Standing Items
    • Parts


Add a Proposal to the Truckload Quote 

  1. To add a proposal to the truckload request, click "Add Proposal"
  2. Choose your proposal from the dropdown
  3. Enter the destination of the shipment


Add Other Items to the Truckload Quote

  1. To add other items to the truckload request, click "Add Other Items"
     
  2. When adding other items, select the project the item is in (if applicable), then enter the items, separated by a comma, to be included in the quote.
  3. Enter the destination of shipment for these items.


NOTE: You can enter multiple shipping destinations to be included on one truckload quote.


Step 3: Enter Remaining Details

  1. If there is anyone you would like copied on the truckload quote email, enter their e-mail address here.  If there are multiple people, separate their e-mail addresses by a comma.
  2. Enter a name for the truckload quote.
  3. Enter any additional notes.
  4. Click submit after all details are entered
